What did you want to spend your day doing when you were young? Did you want to sit inside behind a desk and work all day? Or did you want to explore the outdoors? Run or bike along trails? Discover places that you had never been before? American Conservation Experience’s corporate volunteer program gives you, the working professional, the opportunity to leave your desks behind for a day and give back to the places you day dream about during staff meetings. With this bold new program, ACE is expanding beyond the bounds of a traditional conservation corps to make environmentalism, conservation, and volunteerism easily accessible to all. It aims to bring those who want more than the 9 to 5 back in touch with the natural places they love. ACE’s expert staff facilitates, plans, and leads projects that pair your business and staff with local, state and national parks that matter not only to you and your employees, but to your customers and shareholders as well. ACE helps bridge the gap between business and recreation and promotes your company and its conservation vision.
We have a unique blend of skills and abilities within the organization to provide well managed, interesting, and engaging volunteer opportunities to everyone. All our staff are environmental professionals. Our goal with this program is threefold: to protect, preserve and improve our natural resources, increase your employee satisfaction through providing meaningful work sanctioned by their company, and to facilitate your company’s image as a conservation visionary. To accomplish this we work in close conjunction with land managers, park managers, and nonprofits to pair individuals and groups with projects that are meaningful to them.
Outings generally focus on single “done in a day” projects that fit well into our busy lives. However, as the corporate volunteer program’s essential function is to pair you and your staff with conservation projects related to your interests, projects of any length are possible. We are here to make you and your organization’s conservation ideas a reality!
