ACE Alumni Board Position 

Join the ACE Board of Directors to Advance Your Professional Development While Making a Difference for One of the Nation’s Largest Conservation Corps


American Conservation Experience (ACE) is seeking an alumni member to serve on its Board of Directors. Board members guide and support ACE’s mission, vision, and growth while serving as a champion for the organization. Additional details may be found in ACE’s Board of Directors overview document.


  • Member must have satisfactorily completed their term with ACE
  • Must have completed their term at least three years ago 
  • Member must agree to serve a three-year term and perform all board member duties as outlined in the prospectus
  • There is an opportunity for a voluntary three-year reelection term
  • May not be a staff member at ACE or another conservation corps to prevent any conflict of interest
  • Provide a Letter of Interest containing the information below by February 23, 2024

Your Letter of Interest must include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Your LinkedIn profile link and/or your resume as an attachment
  • Year(s) that you served with ACE
  • Whether you served with Crew or EPIC and include:
    – For Crew, which division
    – For EPIC, include your role and the agency in which you interned
  • Your ACE member manager and/or advisor’s name
  • Why you want to join ACE’s Board of Directors (700 words or less)
  • Please list the skills or benefits you would bring to the Board of Directors (700 words or less)
  • Two professional references
